Is it okay to wear a corporate branded work shirt to court? My roomate told me that it would be a good idea to wear my corporate branded work shirt to court tomorrow. I wont say the company but it is a verrrrry large company world wide and respected and it is just a small emblem in the upper left corner of the shirt. I am 22 years old and he said that infront of the judge it will look very proffesional and respectable that I work for a large company and am not a backyard 22 year old thug. Thanks

Should I wear business casual clothing to work? I work in a laboratory (environmental testing industry) where the dress code is casual. I work within the IT department. The only people I see who wear business casual/professional dress on a constant basis is the director of the lab and the IT manager. The project managers and supervisors wear business casual when a client comes in or when they feel like dressing up. Mostly they wear jeans to work. Our corporate office and corporate staff is located in another state so corporate people only come in and they announce when they come in. How important is it for me to wear business casual? Do you honestly think I will "get ahead" if I wear business casual, etc/? Even the HR lady in our office wears casual clothing most of the time. Any advice to be given on this subject?

Why did the New Orleans Saints wear white? Not that it should be a big surprise and they have worn white at home before (yet, most teams wear dark at home,) but most of the time they wear black. I think there is an INTENTIONAL subliminal message in it. If blacks (like myself) were bolder, they would pay close attention. I have said time and time again, that black athletes draw enough income to form their own administrative leagues and draw the same corporate sponsorship interests. They are just used to the slave/master relationship and settle for the illicit treatment that the professional sports world shows to the black community at large. But, its alright, that is how it should be. Whites owe us nothing...we owe it to ourselves to make business happen for ourselves...Hopefully, we can all pick up on the subliminal messages such as this Saints at home with all white, while mostly blacks were displaced, and take the right steps for the future of ourselves. What to wear as "Casual Cocktail Attire" for corporate x-mas gathering? I am attending a x-mas cocktail party at work, and the attire is "casual cocktail". I have a black or dark grey blazer to work with. They black blazer looks a bit more formal (has brass buttons) and the dark grey one has a little more a of causal look to it.
