WHat color of shirt to wear in corporate work?

I have just been accepted a job in a large company and now i would like to prepare what color of shirt to wear to job. Besides white and what else color can i wear? Can i wear dark grey, dark purple, pink or dark brown? Is it true we should wear brighter color instead of dark color to show that we are fresh-looking?

1. I know a lot of folks that wear light pinks, light blues, and a lot of other pastel colours. I'd be careful with the bold colors, but my advice would be to see what other people in the company wear, and then you'll have a better idea of what's more acceptable and what probably shouldn't be gone into.
2. Always, in the corporate world wear a lighter color as a top/shirt and darker colors in the pants. You can wear white,light grey,pink and mauve as shirts and black or dark grey or navy blue for pants.
3. I always wear dark colors and people think I'm the office vampire. Most people wear a lot of light blue and tan, but I certainly see dark grey and dark brown on occasion. If you are going to wear a dark colored shirt, you may want to offset it with a light colored pants and vice-versa. What you wear will depend on what your job is. I would check out what everyone else is wearing. You might be too casual or too formal.
