What sort of top should I wear with skinny black work trousers?
What sort of top would go with black skinny smart trousers that I wear for work? Something smart for the office? Maybe a smock top? Let me know!

- Or try a bolero jacket or just a plain white button up shirt.
- A white tee shirt.
- not exactly a female but skinny black trousers can go wiv anything...60's styes wiv one of them wide belts wiv matching shoes, go for the pa look and wear it wiv a shirt maybe wiv a little detail in front. wear it liek kiera knightly style, loose top and skinny bottoms... gud luck and av fun deciding. =)
- I'd go with a dressy smock or a shirt cinched at the waist with a belt. =]
- A blue red or yellow smock, or if its a little hotter try a vest top :)
- A plain white t-shirt or a black vest top over a white tight t-shirt.
- the all time fav and classy white blouse..make sure its a nicely fitted 1...i wear that with my smart black skinny pants
- you could wear a smock top or any kind of top really, or a blouse/shirt, i don't know what kind of stuff you like so i can't be more specific. You could try layering a shirt half buttoned over a coloured vest. Alternatively, the shirt/tie/waistcoat look is a good one.
- something smart and comfortable like a smock top. love those tops and they look great xx
- Plain white cotton top with a collar parts slightly were the last 3 buttons should be (Best place 2 look is new look)
- You should wear a white blouse with trimming, which you could probs get from topshop or new look.
- Depending on if your work is business casual or formal, wear a suit jacket with a collared shirt underneath [white, light blue, any soft color, even light green or yellow], or just the collared button up shirt without the suit jacket. If its warmer, wear a short sleeve career jacket with some sort of babydoll, smocked, or empire waisted top underneath [this is more casual] to even out the volume with the skinny trousers If business casual is okay at your work, pair the trousers with a nice shoe and a nice but cute top, like a short-sleeve babydoll or an embellished WIDE STRAPPED tank in a neutral color. For colder weather, try a nice sweater, or a plain cable knit v-neck or crew neck sweater with a collared button-up shirt underneath.
- i think the way to go would be shirts but not black alot of colours are in why not go for a dark blue shirt hope this helped..x
- I Think A Black and white Smock Top would look really nice!! Or a long black and white dressy top* (The type you wear with leggings By the way They sell loads in newlook) would look lovely
- NO please don't wear a smock top unless you want to look pregnant or are pregnant! instead please go for a white fitted shirt with a cinch belt like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sexy-Unique-White-Long-Fitted-Belted-Shirt-Size-10_W0QQitemZ130147880626QQihZ003QQcategoryZ314QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
- These days you can get loads of fashionable blouses, that will look professional yet good and not too broing in the work place. iim suggesting too you a violet blue coverd blouse which is very pretty for the poffice, you could add a leather belt, if you dont like the material one, and some cute blue accessories. I love warehouse....http://www.warehouse.co.uk/fcp/product/-//VIOLET-COVERED-BUTTON-BLOUSE/4049
