what to wear and what to expect for work experience with daily telegraph?

im in year 11, and im doing work experience with the daily telegraph (sydney) at the end of this month. has anyone done their work exp with them? Whats it like? and what should i wear. they say to wear smart casual, but that for me is jeans, tshirt and hoodie. should i wear tie and the lot? or is that too much?

1. A hoodie is a bad idea but I don't think the tie would hurt. Just wear a nice button up shirt and some good khakis, no jeans. The main thing to remember its not what type of clothes you wear its how good you look in them. If you can pull off the jeans and t-shirt that's great but most guys are better off with a button up shirt or polo.
2. You should wear something smart.....maybe jeans and a t-shirt is a bit too casual......you could try a shirt and jeans.......
