Where is the best place to find affordable professional work wear?

I just started a new positon as a social worker and I need to know where to find really affordable business casual work wear. Pants and capris and nice dress shirts are ok. I wear suits occasionally so it might be nice to find affordable suits as well. Thanks!

4. Limited. Love that place. Almost any department store has a section for that. Ann Taylor is the best, but a little pricey. Good luck.
5. Try an upscale resale place....you can get some REALLY nice things on the cheap. Buy some new accessories and voila!
6. Check Walmart..the least expensive that I know of. Target has some vey nice things. ALSO...Go to KOHLS! Their clearance is great! 80% off a lot of the time. Do you have a Gordman's?? Some good clearance there, too.
7. New York and Co. is amazing!!! you can sign up for their e-mail lists--they ALWAYS send out coupons and sale notices for people on their mailing lists. Their sale this weekend is buy one get one for 10 dollars bermuda shorts. Not the kind that the "teeny boppers" wear, but professional looking ones- to wear with a short sleeve button down and a pair of heels or dress sandals. They have great pants and shirts-- I love it too because it isn't so business that you can't wear them on the weekends. The pants are usually around 36.50, but they always have sales--I paid 26.50 for the bermuda shorts. Good luck!
8. value city has good womens' suits for 20$. they have them with skirts also instead of the pants. they are really cute too.

10. Ross, Steinmart (they have good sales), Cato, Wal-mart, Target, Goodwill, Advice: It is best to dry clean cheap clothes so they don't shrink and so they stay crisp looking. Also, try buying things that can be worn with diverse styles. So you can get more use out of them.
