- Pepe's $hitkickers last forever
- Dickies...steel toe...high ankle, leather...treated for moisture.
- perhaps you should get a brand with a lifetime warranty such as redwings?
- RedWing or Doc Martan it depends on if he needs steel toe shoes for his job or whatever conditions he is in would help on brand names.
- Timberland Pro Titans or a brand called Double Tuff. Over a hundred bucks but will last for years.
- i just got some nice timberlands. the lower part of the boot is tuff leather and the upper part (around the ankle) is soft fabric. They are very functional, comfortable and guaranteed water proof. i recommend them.
- Harley Davidson's boots. My husband has had his for a couple of years and just now talking about replacing them. I suppose they have a website to check different types. Pricey but he swears after wearing out every other type quickly, these are the best.
- http://caliroots.com/system/search/product.asp?id=6144 ,Cheap Monday War Canavas Boot: Swedish designer boots for 15$, plus a link... easily the best boots for price, from the land that brought you ikea. I love sweden. Buy these boots!
- R.M. Williams, cost a fortune, but last forever.
- someone else mentioned timberland pros, not bad for cheap boots. Redwings better. Wesco Best! I've worn MANY redwings also Cats, Danner, Timberland, Rocky, Georgia, justin (off the top of my head). I get about a season out of them, more for redwings. I also have flat feet and learned the hardway cheap boots lead to problems later. I now wear Wesco's http://www.westcoastshoe.com. A handmade boot, can be custom fitted for $75 and they are completely rebuildable. Not cheap but I need to take care of my feet if I am going to take care of my family. heres some tips to make boots last, no mink oil, no snow seal etc anything petro based is bad. Neats foot oil ok. Obenaufs is what I use. keep boots clean and oil 1x a wk. Dry weather is bad for boots as is wet and mud. Get a Peets boot dryer, I got one a few yrs ago and wished I bought it a long time ago.
